Everything people ask before they buy. If yours isn't here, send me a message — I answer these myself.
It's my beat store and studio. I'm DJ Vinny J, a music producer in New Jersey. You can do three things here: buy a license to use one of my beats on your own song, commission me to build something custom, or send me a record to mix and master.
No. Licensing is completely self-serve — pick a beat, pay, download. You only need to contact me for custom work, mixing, or exclusive rights.
Mainly R&B, trap, hip-hop and boom bap. Everything is original production — I don't sell type beats or anything built from a template.
I'm in New Jersey, but no travel needed — everything runs remotely. You record your vocals wherever you're comfortable, send me the files, and we work from there. I've got artists all over.
Creator ($95) gets you untagged MP3 and WAV files. Studio ($195) adds the full trackout stems so you or your engineer can mix it properly. Both download immediately after payment.
You own your vocals, lyrics and master recording completely. I keep ownership of the instrumental itself and you hold a license to use it. If you want sole ownership of the beat too, that's an exclusive — ask me.
Yes. Streaming income, sales and monetised videos are yours to keep within your license tier. Producer publishing on the composition is handled separately if the record starts doing real numbers.
On Creator and Studio licenses, yes — they're non-exclusive, which is what keeps them affordable. Exclusive rights take the beat off the site permanently so nobody else can license it.
Card or PayPal through Payhip, my checkout provider. I never see your card details.
Check spam first — delivery is automatic and instant. If it's genuinely missing, email djvinnyj@gmail.com with your order and I'll sort it out same day.
Access to hear every beat on the site including members-only ones, new beats every Friday before anyone else, and 30% off every license you buy. Cancel anytime.
No — and that's the most important thing to understand. The Pass is listening access and a discount. You still buy a license before releasing a record. Pass = access, license = release.
Probably not. One license a month and it pays for itself; less than that and you're better off buying beats individually.
It depends on scope — one beat versus a full EP, how much revision and arrangement is involved, and whether you want exclusive ownership. Tell me about the project on the Studio & Custom page and I'll quote you within 48 hours.
It's a collaborative production process, run remotely. Rather than buying a beat off the shelf, we build the record together — I produce around your voice and your vision, you record your vocals wherever you are, and we go back and forth until it's finished. The result is exclusively yours.
Yes. Mixing and mastering are handled through my studio and I manage that side of it start to finish — you deal with me, not a chain of people. Pricing starts at $500 per song. It can be added to a session or booked on its own for a record you've already recorded.
Your session or exported stems — every track as a separate WAV, all starting at the same point, no master bus processing. I'll tell you exactly what I need when we talk.
Usually one to three weeks depending on the project and how many revisions we go through. Rush timelines are sometimes possible — ask.
